I take my aesthetic cues from the golden era of 90s fashion—the era of the original supermodels and the unapologetic power-broker. This is Editorial Grit. I use typography that has physical “weight” and layouts that challenge the boring, symmetrical status quo of the modern web.
I don’t design for “engagement”; we design for Legacy. By utilizing high-contrast black and white, grainy textures, and 80s-inspired grids, we give your brand a tactile, “expensive” feeling that lingers in the mind of your client long after they’ve closed the tab. I want your website to feel like a high-end coffee table book that someone is afraid to put a drink on. That is the level of respect your vision deserves.
There is a specific grit to the stone architecture here in Bergen—it has survived centuries of Atlantic storms and emerged with more character, not less. It is “Prestige” in its purest form. Your brand should be the same. It shouldn’t look like it was generated by a generic AI in a vacuum; it should look like it was curated by a woman with an obsession for the finer things and a refusal to be “safe.”
